I’ve been turning since 2020, with all my knowledge and skill being self taught.

The quality of my work is always a top priority, from sourcing the wood to applying the finish.

Hand Turned In The Scottish Highlands

I started woodturning in 2020, when I was 14 years old.

When I started turning, there were no lessons available, meaning I had to teach myself the art of turning wood.

The bowls I turn are of a high standard with a smooth feel to them and a refined shape. They are all finished with Danish oil and beeswax which are both food-safe (decorative pieces will have a different finish listed in the description).

The wood I use to turn my bowls and platters is from my local estate which I mill with the chainsaw and allow to season over a number of years until the wood is suitable for being turned and kept inside a heated building.

The washing and care of my bowls: If you are planning to eat out of the bowl please don’t submerge it in water as when it dries it’s likely to crack. Just wipe or rinse the bowl clean. Also, don’t use a strong detergent to clean it as that would ruin the surface of the bowl
