Furniture Restoration & French Polishing
Daniel Stewart French polishes and restores furniture to a high standard - whether it's a contemporary piece of furniture needing a polish, or a vintage sideboard needing a whole new lease of life.
In addition to French polishing, I am able to replace and age drawer knobs and turned legs. Do note that the wood should ideally be provided by the customer, though I do have a small stock of timber to hand.
A piece of furniture that is coated in a layer of varnish or other similar finishes are not nearly as attractive as a piece that has been meticlously French polished.

Upholstery is sub-contracted to a local experienced upholsterer.
Remember, a treasured piece of good furniture restored well by Daniel Stewart will add to its value and the price of the restoration will be a small fraction of the overall pleasure it will give you.
